They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Garzas looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Stephen Soriano (200-85, college: Colorado Mesa) who scored 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. American Wayne Chism (206-87, college: Tennessee) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Cuban center Ismael Romero (203-91, agency: Paris Global Sports) produced 24 points and 8 rebounds and international power forward Fernando Benitez (204-89) added 13 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Garzas have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Panteras. Garzas will again meet at home Panteras (#4) in the next round. Panteras will have a break next round.
