The game between tenth ranked Maccabi Rehovot (5-5) and 13th ranked Hasharon (3-8) in Rehovot ended with biggest points difference. Maccabi Rehovot outscored guests from Ramat Hasharon 95-57. American center Derrick Caracter (206-88, college: UTEP) responded with 11 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized American point guard Adam Honig (185-92, college: Dickinson, agency: Duran International) scored 9 points and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Maccabi Rehovot moved-up to ninth place. Hasharon lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with eight games lost. Maccabi Rehovot will play against higher ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hasharon will play against Hap.R/G Givat. (#5) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
