Regular Season Round 11: Boulazac - Provence Basket 65-83

ProB top team - Provence Basket (11-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Boulazac Basket (4-7) 83-65. The game was mostly controlled by Provence Basket. Boulazac Basket was better in second period 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Provence Basket especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 60.0 percentage. It was a great evening for American swingman Aaron Broussard (195-90, college: Seattle) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American-Nigerian Derrick Obasohan (198-81, college: Texas Arlington, agency: BeoBasket) helped adding 12 points. Four Provence Basket players scored in double figures. Provence Basket's coach Remi Giutta allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American power forward Jarvis Williams (198-93, college: Murray St.) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds and Jerome Sanchez (197-90) scored 14 points. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Provence Basket. They maintain first place with 11-0 record. Boulazac Basket at the other side dropped to the fourteenth position with seven games lost. They share it with Blois. Provence Basket will play against ALM Evreux (#12) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Boulazac Basket will play against ADA Blois and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
