Regular Season Round 11: Hapoel K/S - Hapoel B/S 78-98

National League round 11 most important game was a victory of Hapoel B/S over 4th placed Hapoel Kfar Saba 98-78 on Wednesday night. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Hapoel B/S looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. American power forward Jeff Allen (201-87, college: Virginia Tech) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). His fellow American import swingman Jason Williams (198-83, college: UTEP) contributed with 19 points and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Terrence Watson (200-87, college: Ball St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Adi Cohen (178-93) added 14 points and 6 assists in the effort for Hapoel Kfar Saba. Five Hapoel B/S and four Hapoel Kfar Saba players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hapoel B/S (7-4) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Hapoel Migd.H. and Ironi Nes-Ziona. Hapoel Kfar Saba at the other side dropped to the seventh place with five games lost. They share the position with Ironi K-A. Hapoel B/S is looking forward to face Maccabi Raanana (#4) at home in the next round. Hapoel Kfar Saba will play against the league's second-placed Hapoel Migd.H. and is hoping to win this game.
