No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked AE Larissas (7-5) defeated at home 13th ranked Kavala (4-8) 68-60. AE Larissas forced 19 Kavala turnovers. It was a good game for Icelandic center Sigurdur Thorsteinsson (204-88) who led his team to a victory with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Theodoros Tsiloulis (190-93) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Forward Antonis Sklivas (203-95) replied with 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) and Polish-American guard Andy Mazurczak (188, college: Wisc.-Parkside, agency: Duran International) added 6 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Kavala. Kavala's coach Ilias Modaidis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted AE Larissas maintains sixth position with 7-5 record. Kavala at the other side dropped to the twelfth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Amyntas Dafnis.
