Rather expected game when 6th ranked Artego Bydg. (7-6) lost on the road to third ranked Sleza Wroclaw (10-3) 71-61. Sleza Wroclaw dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Artego Bydg.'s 32. Sleza Wroclaw forced 21 Artego Bydg. turnovers. American point guard Sharnee Zoll-Norman (170-86, college: Virginia) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 assists for the winners. Her fellow American import power forward Nikki Greene (193-90, college: Penn St.) chipped in 9 points and 10 rebounds. Jamaican-American point guard Maurita Reid (172-85, college: Miami, FL) produced 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international forward Elzbieta Miedzik (180-83) added 16 points respectively for lost side. Sleza Wroclaw moved-up to second place, which they share with AZS AJP GW. Artego Bydg. at the other side keeps the sixth position with six games lost. Sleza Wroclaw's next round opponent will be league's leader Wisla Can-Pack in Krakow and it will be for sure the game of the week. Artego Bydg. will play at home against Basket Gdynia (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
