Regular Season Round 13: Dacin Tigers - Fubon Braves 86-102

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of Dacin Tigers (11-5) against second ranked Fubon Braves. Fubon Braves were defeated by Fubon Braves (12-5) 102-86. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Fubon Braves dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Dacin Tigers' 46. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international swingman Wen-Cheng Tsai (190-85) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Wei-Che Lin (182-92) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Fubon Braves players scored in double figures. Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-92, college: N.Mexico St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 20 rebounds and guard Yi-Xiang Zhou (191-91) added 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Dacin Tigers. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fubon Braves keep a position of league leader. Dacin Tigers at the other side dropped to the second place with five games lost. Fubon Braves will play against Yulon Luxgen (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Dacin Tigers will play against Taiwan Beer and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
