Regular Season Round 10: Play Off - Triglav 52-67

Very significant was Slovenian Triglav's (#2, 5-3) victory against one of their biggest challengers Bosnian Play Off (3-4) 67-52. The game was mostly controlled by Triglav. Play Off managed to win third quarter 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Play Off to just 7 points in second quarter. Triglav forced 21 Play Off turnovers and outrebounded them 46-28 including 33 on the defensive glass. Bosnian center Aida Kalusic (187-87) had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Ziva Zdolsek (178-89) chipped in 14 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Triglav players scored in double figures. At the losing side Nikolina Delic (184-96, agency: BeoBasket) responded with 17 points and 4 assists and center Nikolina Dzebo (186-95) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Triglav maintains second position in A with 5-3 record having just two points less than leader Beroe. Defending Bosnian champion Play Off keeps the third place with four games lost. Triglav will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Play Off will play at home against ZKK Kraljevo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
