There was a small surprise when seventeenth ranked JDA Dijon (5-9) crushed at home 14th ranked Cholet Basket (5-9) 93-53 on Friday. The game without a history. JDA Dijon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Cholet Basket's players. American players dominated the game. Point guard David Holston (168-86, college: Chicago St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 6 assists. Forward Isaiah Miles (201-94, college: St.Joseph's) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five JDA Dijon players scored in double figures. JDA Dijon's coach Laurent Legname felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Graham Brown (206-84, college: Michigan) replied with 7 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Isaiah Swann (188-85, college: Florida St.) added 11 points in the effort for Cholet Basket. JDA Dijon moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Cholet Basket. JDA Dijon will face higher ranked Strasbourg IG (#9) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
