Regular Season Round 26: Shinshu BW - Kagawa FA 87-85

Important game to mention about took place in Nagano. Sixth ranked Shinshu BW (7-18) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Kagawa FA (7-18) 87-85 in the game for the fifth place. Kagawa FA was ahead by 9 points at the halftime before a 50-39 second half run of Shinshu BW. American forward Will Carter (200-88, college: San Jose St., agency: HMS) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Takato Takato (181-85) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Guard Shuto Mizoguchi (187-87) replied with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) added 12 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Kagawa FA. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kagawa FA's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Shinshu BW moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Kagawa FA and Bambitious Nara. Shinshu BW will again play against Kagawa FA (#5) in Takamatsu in the next round. Kagawa FA will have a break next round.
