No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Taiwan Beer (9-8) beat 6th ranked Bank of Taiwan (5-12) 82-69. Taiwan Beer made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. American center Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M) scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Huan-Ya Yu (183-93) chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and international guard Wei-Che Lee (179-91) scored 17 points and 5 assists. Four Bank of Taiwan players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending champion maintains fourth position with 9-8 record. Bank of Taiwan at the other side keeps the sixth place with 12 games lost. Taiwan Beer will play against higher ranked Yulon Luxgen (#3) in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Bank of Taiwan will play against the league's second-placed Fubon Braves and hopes to get back on the winning track.
