Regular Season Round 21: Jiangsu TX MK - Shanghai S. 108-117

CBA top team - Shanghai Sharks (19-2) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat seventeenth ranked Jiangsu TX (5-16) 117-108. 29 personal fouls committed by Jiangsu TX helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American point guard Jimmer Fredette (188-89, college: BYU) who led his team to a victory with 43 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists. French Guerschon Yabusele (201-95) contributed with 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. Shanghai Sharks' coach Yuenan Ma used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Jared Cunningham (193-91, college: Oregon St.) answered with 38 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds (went 21 for 21 at the free throw line !!!) and Jordanian forward Zaid Abbas (203-83) added 17 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Jiangsu TX. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Shanghai Sharks have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 19-2 record. Jiangsu TX at the other side dropped to the sixteenth position with 16 games lost. They share it with North Control B.. Shanghai Sharks are looking forward to face Jiangsu Dragons (#9) in Nanjing in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Jiangsu TX will play on the road against Fujian (#18) in Jinjiang and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
