Very expected game when 9th ranked Jiangsu Dragons (11-10) lost to fourth ranked Liaoning Hunters (16-5) in Nanjing 97-112. Liaoning Hunters outrebounded Jiangsu Dragons 43-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin) who scored 29 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international Ailun Guo (192-93) chipped in 23 points and 4 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was Jamaican power forward Samardo Samuels (206-89, college: Louisville) who recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and American swingman MarShon Brooks (196-89, college: Providence) added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Liaoning Hunters maintains fourth place with 16-5 record. Jiangsu Dragons at the other side dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. Liaoning Hunters' next round opponent will be Guangzhou (#19) at home which should be an easy win for them. Jiangsu Dragons will play against the league's leader Shanghai Sharks (#1) and hope to win that game.
