Regular Season Round 15: Nanterre - Nancy 90-81
Date: December 27, 2016
Not a big story in a game when 18th ranked Sluc Nancy (3-12) was defeated on the road by third ranked JSF Nanterre (10-4) 90-81. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Sluc Nancy won third quarter 24-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American swingman Spencer Butterfield (190-92, college: Utah St., agency: Three Eye Sports) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Brian Conklin (198-89, college: St.Louis) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Canadian-Italian power forward Marc Trasolini (206-90, college: Santa Clara) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and American forward Dario Hunt (206-89, college: Nevada) added 22 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Sluc Nancy. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. JSF Nanterre maintains third place with 10-4 record having four points less than leader Monaco. Sluc Nancy at the other side stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. JSF Nanterre's next round opponent will be league's leader Monaco on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sluc Nancy will play against ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (#7) and hope to win that game.
