Regular Season Round 15: Orleans - Monaco 61-86

ProA top team - Monaco (13-2) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed sixteenth ranked Entente Orleans 45 (5-10) 86-61. The game was mostly controlled by Monaco. Entente Orleans 45 managed to win third quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Monaco forced 21 Entente Orleans 45 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American-Bulgarian point guard Dee Bost (188-89, college: Mississippi St., agency: Three Eye Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 5 assists. Naturalized Mali forward Amara Sy (202-81, agency: BeoBasket) helped adding 12 points and 8 rebounds. Four Monaco players scored in double figures. Monaco's coach Zvezdan Mitrovic felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American swingman Micah Downs (195-86, college: Gonzaga) with 13 points and 5 rebounds and Spanish point guard Carlos Cabezas (186-80) scored 10 points and 4 assists. Monaco have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 13-2 record. Entente Orleans 45 at the other side dropped to the fifteenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Antibes and Dijon. Monaco are looking forward to face JSF Nanterre (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Entente Orleans 45 will play against JDA Dijon (#15) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
