Regular Season Round 15: Cholet - Antibes 67-64

A very interesting game took place in Cholet. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 14th ranked Olympique Antibes (5-10) to fifteenth ranked Cholet Basket (6-9) 67-64 on Tuesday evening. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Olympique Antibes won fourth quarter 21-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cholet Basket dominated on the defensive end, holding Olympique Antibes to just 6 points in first quarter. They made 20-of-23 charity shots (87.0 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Olympique Antibes helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American point guard Isaiah Swann (188-85, college: Florida St.) who led his team to a victory with 13 points. His fellow American import swingman David Noel (201-84, college: N.Carolina) contributed with 8 points and 5 assists for the winners. American-Nigerian center Chris Otule (211-90, college: Marquette) answered with 15 points and 7 rebounds and American Tim Blue (205-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Olympique Antibes. Cholet Basket moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Chalons-Reims and Hyeres-Toulon. Olympique Antibes at the other side dropped to the fifteenth position with ten games lost. Cholet Basket's next round opponent will be Hyeres-Toulon (#13) at home. Olympique Antibes will play against Le Mans and hope to win that game.
