Regular Season Round 15: Le Portel - Chalons-Reims 79-64

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Le Portel and 12th ranked Chalons-Reims had identical 6-8 record. This time Le Portel used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Reims 79-64. The game was mostly controlled by Le Portel. Chalons-Reims was better in third quarter 23-18. Le Portel (7-8) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Limoges. Chalons-Reims at the other side keeps the twelfth position with nine games lost. Le Portel's next round opponent will be higher ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (#9) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Chalons-Reims will play against the league's second-placed Chalon/Saor where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
