Regular Season Round 15: Limoges - Gravelines 88-79

There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Limoges CSP Elite (7-8) beat at home 8th ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (7-7) 88-79. It looked good early as Gravelines-Dunkerque took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Limoges CSP Elite had a 23-12 second period charge getting the lead and Gravelines-Dunkerque was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 79-88. Limoges CSP Elite players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a good game for the former international center Ousmane Camara (202-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Slovenian guard Klemen Prepelic (191-92) contributed with 17 points and 7 assists for the winners. American guard Justin Cobbs (191-91, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and the other American import guard Kyle Gibson (196-87, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: BeoBasket) added 22 points in the effort for Gravelines-Dunkerque. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Limoges CSP Elite maintains tenth place with 7-8 record, which they share with Le Portel. Gravelines-Dunkerque at the other side dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost. Limoges CSP Elite's next round opponent will be higher ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#4) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
