Very expected game when 8th ranked Chorale de Roanne (6-7) was defeated on the road by third ranked JL Bourg (9-4) 106-90 on Tuesday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. JL Bourg shot 62.5 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Senegalese center Youssou Ndoye (213-91, college: St.Bonaventure) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. They maintain third place with 9-4 record having just three points less than leader Provence Basket. Loser Chorale de Roanne keeps the eighth position with seven games lost. JL Bourg will face ALM Evreux (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Chorale de Roanne will play against JA Vichy and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
