Very expected game in Quilpue where 11th ranked Tinguiririca S.F. (7-22) was crushed by first ranked Los Leones (21-8) 106-68 on Wednesday. Los Leones dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Tinguiririca S.F.'s 38. They outrebounded Tinguiririca S.F. 43-22 including a 31-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Brandon Bowdry (200-88, college: E.Michigan, agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 32 points and 17 rebounds (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field) and the other American import forward Howard Crawford (205-88, college: UAB) who added 24 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Los Leones players scored in double figures. At the losing side Argentinian power forward Juan Luis Abeiro (196-88) responded with 28 points and 5 rebounds and Venezuelan center Jose Juan Bravo (202-86, agency: Pro Sports) scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Los Leones maintains first position with 21-8 record. Loser Tinguiririca S.F. keeps the eleventh place with 22 games lost. Los Leones will face Espanol de Talca (#5) on the road in the next round. Tinguiririca S.F. will play against Puente Alto (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
