Regular Season Round 12: Start Lublin - Rosa Radom 64-63

A very interesting game took place in Lublin. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Rosa (7-6) to seventeenth ranked TBV Start (2-11) 64-63 on Wednesday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. The best player for the winners was American guard Doug Wiggins (183-88, college: Mountain St.) who scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. The other American import power forward Brandon Peterson (204-90, college: Arkansas St., agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 9 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was international swingman Michal Sokolowski (196-92) who recorded 13 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Gary Bell (192-92, college: Gonzaga, agency: Higher Vision Sports) added 18 points respectively. Rosa's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. TBV Start moved-up to sixteenth place, which they share with Siarka. Rosa at the other side keeps the seventh position with six games lost. TBV Start's next round opponent will be league's leader Twarde Pierniki in Torun and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
