Rather expected game in Hiroshima where 5th ranked Tokyo Excel. (8-19) was defeated by second ranked Dragonflies (22-6) 77-62 on Friday. The game without a history. Dragonflies led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Tokyo Excel.'s 20. Dragonflies forced 20 Tokyo Excel. turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Senegalese center Aziz N'Diaye (213-88, college: Washington) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and the former international center Daiji Yamada (200-81) who added 12 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American center Ryan Stephan (208-94, college: Colorado Mesa) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 20 rebounds and swingman Hiroaki Tobita (187-90) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Four Tokyo Excel. players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Dragonflies have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Toyotsu FE. Loser Tokyo Excel. keeps the fifth place with 19 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
