Regular Season Round 15: Fubon Braves - Bank of Taiwan 82-72

SBL top team - Fubon Braves (13-6) managed to deliver another win on Friday. This time they beat sixth ranked Bank of Taiwan (5-13) 82-72. They outrebounded Bank of Taiwan 41-30 including 26 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Wen-Cheng Tsai (190-85) who scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. Canadian center Liam McMorrow (218-87, college: Tenn Tech) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Five Fubon Braves players scored in double figures. Fubon Braves' coach Hang-Shu Yan allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and guard Po-Sheng Chang (185-87) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively. Fubon Braves maintains first place with 13-6 record, which they share with Dacin Tigers. Bank of Taiwan lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 13 games lost. They share it with KKL. Fubon Braves will meet bottom-ranked KKL (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Bank of Taiwan will play against Yulon Luxgen and hope to secure a win.
