Leader Helsinki Seagulls delivered the fifteenth victory on Friday night. This time they crushed 9th ranked KTP-Basket (6-12) 107-70. The game was mostly controlled by Helsinki Seagulls. KTP-Basket was better in fourth quarter 30-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Helsinki Seagulls shot 63.6 percent from the field. American Monyea Pratt (196-85, college: Stillman) produced 27 points and Jamaican-American power forward Sherman Gay (201-82, college: Loyola Mary) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Helsinki Seagulls maintains first place with 15-2 record. Loser KTP-Basket keeps the ninth position with 12 games lost. Helsinki Seagulls will face BC Nokia (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. KTP-Basket will play against the league's second-placed Salon Vilpas and hope to win that game.
