There was a surprise result when fifteenth ranked Cocinas.com (5-12) outscored on the road higher ranked Lleida Basquet (10-7) 80-56 on Friday. The game without a history. American guard Bryce Pressley (193, college: Portland) stepped up and scored 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and guard Alberto Ruiz de Galarreta (198-83) chipped in 16 points. Brazilian forward Leonardo Demetrio (203-94) responded with 15 points and Argentinian guard Juan Sutina (192-90) scored 13 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
