Regular Season Round 15: Granada - Valladolid 88-76

LEB Silver top team - CB Granada (11-4) managed to deliver another win on Friday. This time they beat fifth ranked Blancos de Rueda (9-6) 88-76. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Blancos de Rueda. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-76. It was a good game for Romanian power forward Rares Uta (211-97) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). American guard Adrian Bowie (189-89, college: Maryland) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four CB Granada players scored in double figures. Center Sergio De La Fuente (198-89) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and British forward Rowell Graham (197-94) added 18 points in the effort for Blancos de Rueda. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. CB Granada have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 11-4 record, which they share with Lucentum. Blancos de Rueda at the other side keeps the fifth position with six games lost. They share it with Cambados. CB Granada is looking forward to face Fontedoso Carrefour (#4) in Avila in the next round. Blancos de Rueda will play on the road against Agustinos-Leclerc in Leon and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
