Regular Season Round 12: Templeogue - DCU Saints 98-75

Super League top team - Templeogue (12-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed ninth ranked DCU Saints (3-9) in Dublin 98-75. Templeogue dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to DCU Saints' 56. Templeogue forced 19 DCU Saints turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international forward Michael Bonaparte (196-82, college: Coll.of the Ozarks) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international center Jason Killeen (211-85, college: Augusta) who added 24 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Templeogue's coach Mark Keenan felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was the former international center Martins Provizors (202-87) with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Kevin O'Hanlon (186-95) scored 12 points and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Templeogue have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-0 record. DCU Saints lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Eanna. Templeogue are looking forward to face Killester (#5) in Dublin in the next round. DCU Saints will play at home against Moycullen (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
