Regular Season Round 16: KKL - Fubon Braves 62-70

Leader Fubon Braves delivered the fourteenth victory. This time they beat 6th ranked KKL (5-14) 70-62. Worth to mention a great performance of Canadian center Liam McMorrow (218-87, college: Tenn Tech) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 18 rebounds. The former international swingman Wen-Cheng Tsai (190-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American forward Eugene Phelps (198-90, college: Long Beach St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 24 rebounds and guard Li-Jen Lin (185-90) added 10 points in the effort for KKL. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Fubon Braves maintains first position with 14-6 record, which they share with Dacin Tigers. KKL at the other side dropped to the bottom place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Bank of Taiwan. Fubon Braves will play against Pauian (#5) in the next round. KKL will play against Yulon Luxgen and hopes to get back on the winning track.
