Regular Season Round 14: Dolomiti En. TR - MIA-RO Cantu 68-77

There was a small surprise when thirteenth ranked AV Cantu (6-8) won against 10th ranked Dolomiti En. TR (6-8) in Trento 77-68 on Monday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Dolomiti En. TR won third quarter 19-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American power forward JaJuan Johnson (208-89, college: Purdue) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Croatian swingman Fran Pilepic (193-89) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four AV Cantu players scored in double figures. Point guard Diego Flaccadori (194-96) replied with 14 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Aaron Craft (188-91, college: Ohio St.) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Dolomiti En. TR. AV Cantu moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Dolomiti En. TR. AV Cantu will face league's leader Armani Milano at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
