The game in Jamtland was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Boras Basket (10-7) played at the court of 6th ranked KFUM Jamtland (7-9). Boras Basket managed to secure a 8-point victory 77-69. The guests were already 11 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 25-22 KFUM Jamtland's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 77-69 at the end of the game. It was an exceptional evening for the former international Christian Maraker (207-82, college: Pacific) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. International swingman Fredrik Andersson (202-93) accounted for 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Croatian forward Dino Cinac (201-88) came up with 20 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Mike Bruesewitz (201-90, college: Wisconsin) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively for KFUM Jamtland in the defeat. Four KFUM Jamtland players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Boras Basket. They maintain third place with 10-7 record having four points less than leader BC Lulea. KFUM Jamtland lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the seventh position with nine games lost. Boras Basket will play against Umea (#8) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. KFUM Jamtland will play against Nassjo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
