Round 15 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Real Madrid (11-3). They were defeated by seventh ranked Baskonia (9-5) 77-62 on Tuesday night. The game was mostly controlled by Baskonia. Real Madrid managed to win fourth quarter 20-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Baskonia forced 19 Real Madrid turnovers. It was a great evening for American point guard Shane Larkin (180-92, college: Miami, FL) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points. Hungarian Adam Hanga (199-89, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 16 points. The best for the losing side was international Rudy Fernandez (197-85) with 12 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Slovenian point guard Luka Doncic (201-99) scored 12 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Baskonia moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Unicaja. Defending champion Real Madrid still keeps top position with three games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by FC Barcelona who have the same record. Real Madrid will play next round against Andorra trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Baskonia will try to continue on its current victory against tenth ranked Baloncesto Fuenlabrada in Madrid.
