The game with biggest result difference took place in Sichuan. Local Sichuan BW (13-12) outscored 20th ranked Guangzhou (4-21) 114-88. They outrebounded Guangzhou 48-31 including a 38-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sichuan BW players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Iranian center Hamed Haddadi (218-85) nailed a double-double by scoring 31 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks for the winning side and guard Rongqi Huang (190-99) accounted for 14 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists. American swingman D.J. Kennedy (198-89, college: St.John's) came up with 18 points and 5 assists and center Zhun Zheng (214-92) added 18 points respectively for Guangzhou in the defeat. Five Guangzhou players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion moved-up to ninth place. Guangzhou lost their fifth game in a row. They stay dead last with 21 lost games. Sichuan BW's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Guandong Tigers in Dongguan and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Guangzhou will play on the road against Xinjiang Flying Tige (#3) in Urumqi and hope to win that game.
