Regular Season Round 25: Jilin NE T. - Liaoning FL 113-109

We should mention about the upset which took place in Changchun, where 4th placed Liaoning Hunters (19-6) lost to thirteenth ranked Jilin Tigers (11-14) in a road game 109-113 on Wednesday. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Liaoning Hunters. American swingman Jabari Brown (193-92, college: Missouri) stepped up and scored 30 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and his fellow American import forward Malcolm Thomas (206-88, college: San Diego St.) chipped in 11 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin) responded with 41 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and the former international center Dejun Han (215-89) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Liaoning Hunters' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Jilin Tigers maintains thirteenth place with 11-14 record, which they share with TianJin S. Loser Liaoning Hunters keep the fourth position with six games lost. Jilin Tigers will meet league's leader Shanghai Sharks on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Liaoning Hunters will play against Shanxi Zhongyu and hope to secure a win.
