Rather predictable result when fourteenth ranked San Vendemiano (4-10) beat on the road 16th ranked Iseo (2-12) 77-63 on Wednesday. San Vendemiano made 26-of-32 free shots (81.3 percent) during the game, while Iseo only scored seven points from the stripe. Iseo was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was power forward Andrea Carlesso (202-82) who scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Michele Antelli (183-98) chipped in 8 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Andrea Leone (186-94) produced 19 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and Gianluigi Prestini (200-89) added 9 points and 6 assists respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. San Vendemiano moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Milano Urania and Patti. Iseo at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fifteenth position with 12 games lost. San Vendemiano will face league's leader Orzinuovi GaGa at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Iseo will play against Volpino AltoSeb.
