Regular Season Round 29: AB Ancud - Osorno 66-76

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Ancud. Second ranked Osorno Basquetbol faced 4th placed AB Ancud. Guests from Osorno (21-9) defeated host AB Ancud (17-13) 76-66. The game was mostly controlled by Osorno Basquetbol. AB Ancud managed to win fourth quarter 22-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded AB Ancud 40-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward Brandon Robinson (198-89, college: Clayton St.) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds. His fellow American import center Yamene Coleman (208-86, college: Troy, agency: Interperformances) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. American forward Reginald Larry (198-86, college: Boise St., agency: Pro Sports) produced 22 points and 7 rebounds and Venezuelan swingman Francisco Centeno (201-85) added 21 points respectively for the hosts. AB Ancud's coach Ivan Gallardo rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Osorno Basquetbol maintains second place with 21-9 record behind leader Los Leones. AB Ancud at the other side dropped to the fifth position with 13 games lost. Osorno Basquetbol are looking forward to face CD Castro (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. AB Ancud will play against Las Animas (#7) in Valdivia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
