The most exciting game of round 11 in the Superleague took place in Tabriz. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 5th ranked Tabriz (6-5) to sixth ranked Chemidor (6-5) 65-63 in the game for the fifth place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tabriz. The best player for the winners was American guard Daequan Cook (195-87, college: Ohio St.) who scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Lithuanian power forward Povilas Cukinas (210-83) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Chemidor players scored in double figures. American forward Sean Williams (208-86, college: Boston Coll.) produced 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Erfan Nasajpour (177-84) added 7 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Chemidor moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Tabriz. Chemidor's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tehran Azad.
