The game between closely ranked teams ended with 15th ranked Agropoli's (5-11) road loss to fourteenth ranked Viola RC (6-9) 62-81 on Friday. Viola RC held Agropoli to an opponent 8.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 52.8 percent accuracy of the winners and made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian power forward Ivica Radic (208-90, agency: XL Basketball Agency) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds and American-Jordanian guard Alex Legion (195-88, college: FIU, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 22 points, 6 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Four Viola RC players scored in double figures. At the losing side American swingman Donnell Taylor (198-82, college: UAB) responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import power forward Kevin Langford (204-85, college: TCU) scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Viola RC moved-up to thirteenth place in A2. Loser Agropoli keeps the fifteenth position with 11 games lost. Viola RC will face league's second-placed Legnano in Castellanza in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Agropoli will play at home against Agrigento (#3) having rather not much hope for a victory.
