Very important is a home loss of second ranked Legnano (10-4) against fifth ranked Tortona (9-7) on Friday night. Host Legnano was defeated by Tortona in Castellanza 80-69. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Phil Greene IV (187-92, college: St.John's) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 assists and the former international power forward Luca Garri (207-82) who added 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American center William Mosley (203-89, college: Northwestern St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and his fellow American import Nikolas Raivio (192-86, college: Portland, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 18 points and 6 assists. Five Tortona and four Legnano players scored in double figures. Tortona moved-up to fourth place in A2. Loser Legnano keeps the second position with four games lost. Tortona will face Latina Basket (#8) at home in the next round. Legnano will play against Viola RC (#13) in Reggio Calabria and hope to win that game.
