Regular Season Round 15: Nidaros Jets - Kongsberg 49-116

The game between Top Four teams took place in Tromdheim. 4th placed host Nidaros Jets (10-8) were smashed by first ranked Kongsberg (14-2) 116-49. The game without a history. Kongsberg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Nidaros Jets' 34. They outrebounded Nidaros Jets 51-28 including a 37-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kongsberg shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 61.9 percentage. It was an exceptional evening for British forward Solomon Rolls-Tyson (203, college: E.Utah JC, agency: Mansfield and Associates) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Cuban-American guard Juan Ferrales (188-91, college: Barry) accounted for 22 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Five Kongsberg players scored in double figures. Forward Jakob Baiden (194-93) came up with 8 points and 6 rebounds and Christian Dischington (188-99) added 12 points respectively for Nidaros Jets in the defeat. Nidaros Jets' coach Luke Jenkinson gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Kongsberg have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-2 record. Nidaros Jets lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with Gimle BBK. Kongsberg will play against Centrum (#6) in Oslo in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Nidaros Jets will have a break next round.
