Regular Season Round 13: Bologna - Vicenza 72-50

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Bologna. Leader Bologna faced their biggest opponent Vicenza. Host Bologna (12-0) smashed guests from Vicenza (10-2) 72-50. The game was mostly controlled by Bologna. Vicenza managed to win second period 16-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bologna forced 21 Vicenza turnovers. Point guard Chiara Mini (165-86) stepped up and scored 23 points, 6 assists and 5 steals for the winners and the former international forward Alessandra Tava (183-91) chipped in 19 points. Bologna maintains first place in A2 with 12-0 record. Loser Vicenza keeps the second position with two games lost. Bologna will meet Ferrara (#5) on the road in the next round. Vicenza will play against Salerno and hope to secure a win.
