There was no surprise when 15th ranked Oleggio (5-10) was outleveled on the road by second ranked Moncalieri (10-4) 81-57 on Saturday. Moncalieri outrebounded Oleggio 35-24 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for Estonian forward Kaspar Treier (203-99) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Daniele Merletto (175-93) contributed with 9 points and 6 assists for the winners. Dominican guard Shaquille Hidalgo (188-94) answered with 19 points and 4 steals and guard Filiberto Dri (190-89) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Oleggio. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Moncalieri maintains second place in B with 10-4 record having just three points less than leader Omegna. Loser Oleggio dropped to the eleventh position with ten games lost.
