Alexela KML round 12 caused change at the leadership position. Second defeat of league's leader TU/Rock (9-2) against third ranked Kalev/Cramo (9-2) 85-75 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of TU/Rock. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 44-32 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for American guard Demonte Harper (193-89, college: Morehead St.) who led his team to a victory with 22 points. American-Bulgarian power forward Cedric Simmons (206-86, college: N.Carolina St.) contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Kalev/Cramo's coach Alar Varrak used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with TU/Rock and Rapla. TU/Rock will play next round against BC Rakvere trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Kalev/Cramo will try to continue on its current victory against ninth ranked Noorteliiga. It will be extra interesting game as Noorteliiga is their local rival from Tallinn.
