The game in Tarshicha was also quite interesting. Second ranked Hapoel B/S (9-4) played at the court of 6th ranked Hapoel Migd.H. (7-6). Hapoel B/S defeated Hapoel Migd.H. 76-66 on Saturday. They outrebounded Hapoel Migd.H. 47-30 including a 35-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Hapoel B/S looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American power forward Jeff Allen (201-87, college: Virginia Tech) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and swingman Ohad Cohen (194-87) chipped in 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side American swingman Marcus Relphorde (198-88, college: Colorado) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and American-Puerto Rican Chris Gaston (201-89, college: Fordham) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hapoel B/S have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Ironi Nes-Ziona. Loser Hapoel Migd.H. dropped to the seventh place with six games lost. They share the position with Hapoel K/S and Ironi K-A. Hapoel B/S will meet Hasharon (#13) in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
