The game in Albino supposed to be also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Team Crema (9-4) played at the court of 8th ranked Albino (5-8). Team Crema smashed Albino 68-44 on Saturday. The game without a history. Team Crema led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Albino to just 2 points in second quarter. Team Crema held Albino to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 53.1 percent accuracy of the winners. Team Crema had a 33-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Team Crema especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.3 percentage. Latvian forward Ieva Veinberga (185-84) fired 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Martina Picotti (184-90) chipped in 15 points. Croatian guard Lana Packovski (170-94) produced 5 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Linda Manzini (176-90) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Albino's coach Giuliano Stibiel gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Team Crema moved-up to fifth place in A2. Loser Albino dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. Team Crema will face Bolzano (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Albino will play against Orvieto and hope to win that game.
