We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Oslo where ninth ranked Tromso (6-13) defeated 8th ranked Ammerud Bskt (5-12) 71-65. The guests were already 15 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 23-14 Ammerud Bskt's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 71-65 at the end of the game. It was an exceptional evening for guard Hani Issalhi (191-84) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Aslak Smalas (186-89) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. Four Tromso players scored in double figures. American-German forward Marco Sanders (202-79, college: Point Park) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and guard Samuel Amed Diomande (193-88) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for Ammerud Bskt in the defeat. Tromso moved-up to eighth place. Ammerud Bskt at the other side dropped to the ninth position with 12 games lost. Tromso will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Ammerud Bskt will play on the road against Asker Aliens (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
