Regular Season Round 17: LKS MG13 Lodz - Start Lublin II 99-44

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked LKS MG13 Lodz (12-5) crushed at home 12th ranked Start Lublin II (3-14) 99-44 on Sunday. They outrebounded Start Lublin II 54-25 including a 23-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Filip Tonkiel (197-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 8 rebounds. Power forward Jakub Mazurowicz (202-93) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Bartlomiej Pelczar (185-0) answered with 14 points and guard Jan Piliszczuk (185-0) added 11 points in the effort for Start Lublin II. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. LKS MG13 Lodz moved-up to fourth place in Group B, which they share with Stal SW. Loser Start Lublin II keeps the twelfth position with 14 games lost. LKS MG13 Lodz will face Zubry (#10) in Bialystok in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Start Lublin II will play at home against Tur Bielsk Pdl. and hope to win that game.
