There was a minor upset when 5th ranked Crema (9-6) lost on the road to seventh ranked Lecco (9-6) 76-68 on Sunday. Lecco looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a good game for power forward Gaetano Spera (210-93, college: St.Peter's, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory with 13 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Guard Daniele Quartieri (195-87, agency: SPORTlab Agency) contributed with 13 points, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four Lecco players scored in double figures. Lecco's coach Massimo Meneguzzo used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Daniele Manuelli (192-94) answered with 23 points and 4 assists and point guard Davide Liberati (190-91, agency: Players Group) added 19 points and 5 assists in the effort for Crema. Lecco moved-up to fifth place in B, which they share with Faenza and Crema.
