Very important is a home loss of second ranked Hapoel Holon (9-4) against seventh ranked Ironi Nahariya (6-7) on Sunday night. Host Hapoel Holon was defeated by Ironi Nahariya in Holon 79-61. American swingman James Bell (198-92, college: Villanova) answered with 21 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import forward Darion Atkins (203-92, college: Virginia) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Hapoel Holon. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ironi Nahariya have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain seventh place with 6-7 record, which they share with Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Eilat. Hapoel Holon at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. Ironi Nahariya's next round opponent will be Maccabi Ashdod (#10) at home. Hapoel Holon will play against the league's leader Maccabi T-A (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
