There was no surprise when 7th ranked Forli Tigers (8-8) lost to third ranked Palestrina (13-3) in Roma 68-84 on Sunday. Palestrina made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Forli Tigers turnovers. It was a good game for forward Riccardo Pederzini (198-89) who led his team to a victory with 19 points. Forward Filippo Gagliardo (206-78, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 12 points for the winners. Palestrina's coach Gianluca Lulli used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Joel Myers (185-95) answered with 21 points and Luca Fontecchio (202-91, agency: Players Group) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Forli Tigers. Four Forli Tigers players scored in double figures. Palestrina maintains third place in B with 13-3 record having just one victory less than leader Omegna.
