One of the most interesting games of round 8 was a derby match between two teams from Belarus/BK-Gorizont-Minsk/8973. Sixth ranked Gorizont defeated visiting Tsmoki-Minsk (1-7) 60-42. The game without a history. Gorizont led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Tsmoki-Minsk to just 5 points in fourth quarter. Gorizont held Tsmoki-Minsk to an opponent 22.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 35.5 percent accuracy of the winners.
